Joseph William Finn, retired Toronto Hydro employee
At the Scarborough Grace Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2011 in his 84th year, Joseph beloved husband of Laura Marjorie (nee Wells) of 60 years, dear father of Terry (Kim), Patricia (Jim), Joseph (Jean), Nancy, Lorraine (Kenn) and Marlene (David). Lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Resting at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home (Scarborough, Ontario). Visitation was on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass was at Precious Blood Church on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Interment at the Holy Cross Cemetery (Thornhill, Ontario).
Joseph Finn was born in Dundurn in 1927, son of Dr. J.J. Finn and Florence Finn. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Matt and Jim, and sisters Bertha Remmen and Isabelle Hildebrand.
Joseph and Marjorie moved to Toronto in the 1950s and were married for just under 60 years.
