Henry Nicholas Siroski was born on Dec. 15, 1920. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Feb. 2, 2010.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Maizie; sons, Les (Pat), Barry and David (Susan); grandchildren, Jennifer (Jesse) Schneider, Shaleen (John Paul) Ross, Shannon (Mark) Thoner, Justin Siroski, Bradley (Andrea) Siroski, Tara (Jody) George, Jackie (Dallas) Loberg, Steven Siroski, Shelley (Tyler) Townsend, Sarah (Keith) Siroski, Shelby Siroski and Jillian Siroski; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Francis Masich; one brother-in-law; five sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Mary; his son, Don (Knotter) Siroski; five brothers and five sisters.
Henry spent his life as an active member of the Kenaston/Davidson community. He was a member of the Kenaston Credit Union board and the Kenaston Parish Council. He loved the land and farmed for 59 years. Church and his faith were a big part of his life. His family always came first and they will miss him dearly.
Prayers were held on Feb. 8, 2010 and the Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 9, 2010, both at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Davidson. Interment at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Kenaston, Sask.
Memorials in memory of Henry may be directed to the Davidson and District Health Foundation or to the charity of your choice. Hanson’s Funeral Home were entrusted with arrangements.
