1940-2018

Rose Shwiertz passed away peacefully on Nov. 18, 2018 at the Extend a Care in Moose Jaw SK., at the age of 78. Her parents were Emilien and Phylis Tichit. Rose is predeceased by husbands Cyril Van De Wiele, Steve Hnatiuk & Tony Schwiertz. She leaves behind two sons Sydney Van De Wiele (wife Laurie) and George Van De Wiele (wife Joanie); two daughters Valerie Childs (late husband Karl) and Jean Cooke (husband Paul); nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two brother’s and three sisters. Ugene, Edith, Yvonne, Teresa and Steven. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place in Saskatoon, SK. A service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
