September 3, 1938 – April 17, 2023

Dad passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. He was looking forward to being reunited with his loving and devoted wife Dianne, for whom he grieved over the past 8 1/2 months.

Left to mourn him are his loving daughters and their families: Debbie (Barry) Foy – Prince Albert; Kathy (Mark) Zdunich – Kenaston; and Karen (David) Roden – Saskatoon. Dad leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren and soon to be 16 great-grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years on July 31, 2022.

As per Dad’s wishes, no funeral will be held. The family will celebrate him at a private family gathering.

The family wishes to thank the many friends from Hanley and area who helped Dad during his time of grief with visits, home-baked dinners, and goodies, and help with his home and yard. We are forever grateful for the compassionate care from the doctors, nurses, care aides, and staff at Davidson Hospital where Dad spent his final days.
