Joseph Richard Painchaud

July 26, 1954 – October 5, 2021

Richard Painchaud, our beloved brother, died tragically on October 5, 2021.

Richard was predeceased by his parents Con and Anne Painchaud and is survived by his siblings Mary Anne Monz (Brian), Cathy Randall (Bob), Andy Painchaud (Debbie), Ronnie Painchaud, Dennis Painchaud, Jeannine McNabb (Kim), Louise Baxter (Gavin) and Julia Painchaud (Mike).

Richard was born in Shaunavon SK and attended his school years in Davidson. Before Richard graduated from Davidson High School, he was already working for Con’s Construction. Eventually, he became the plant manager. When Wright Construction purchased Con’s Construction, Richard stayed on as the plant manager. He was always a reliable, hard-working employee.

Richard loved family time and family events. He always asked about what his nieces and nephews were doing. He especially enjoyed watching their sporting events. Richard was a faithful member of the Davidson Sacred Heart Parish.

His family and friends will greatly miss him. Rest in peace.

The funeral service for Richard was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on October 14, 2021 and he was laid to rest in Davidson Community Cemetery.
