The passing of Shirley Jean Huggins occurred on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the University Hospital, Saskatoon, Sask. Shirley was 75 years of age.
She was born April 5, 1936 at home on her parents’ farm in the Kenaston district.
Shirley was the youngest of seven children born to Jim and Eliza Firby. On November 21, 1959, she married Ray Huggins of Imperial, Sask.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Ray; her brother, Ron Firby; sisters Audrey Matonovich and Janet Crawford; her brother-in-law Matt Pillipow; sister-in-law Lorraine Firby; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The graveside funeral service was held at the family plot in the Kenaston Community Cemetery on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.
