July 31, 1952 – March 13, 2023
We are saddened by the loss of our father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ed passed away on his beloved farm. He was deeply loved and will be missed dearly. He was a dedicated rancher who loved to be nowhere else but on his farm with his horses near Davidson.
Ed married Maureen Morrison in 1977. They both welcomed their son Mylo in 1979. In 1985 Ed and his family moved to Rocky Mountain House where he worked as a logger for 8 years. In 1993 Ed was happy to be able to buy his farm and return to Saskatchewan. Ed had always used his horses in farming and chores. He always had at least 3 horses at all times. He always enjoyed going on trail rides with his family. Ed had the belief in the promised hope of being reunited with his loved ones in the paradise.
Ed is survived by his son Mylo, his daughter in law Janel and his two grandchildren Felix and Millie. His siblings Lorne Cammer, Marjorie Cammer, Patricia Cammer, Cathy (Bob) Siroski, Sheila Cammer, Peter (Diane) Cammer, Marty (Deb) Cammer and many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his parents Peter and Margaret Cammer, his sister Maureen Brown and his wife Maureen.
Our gentle, kind and loving Ed will truly be missed. The funeral for Ed was held Saturday, April 1 in Davidson. Arrangements were in the care of Hanson’s Funeral Home of Davidson.
