Mom passed away peacefully on a sunny July 31st summer day – fitting for a woman who always viewed life with a positive lens. Never to complain or fuss, she faced life’s challenges with grace and dignity.

Left to mourn her is her loving family: husband of 63 years Rod – Hanley; daughters Debbie (Barry) Foy – Prince Albert; Kathy (Mark) Zdunich – Kenaston; and Karen (David) Roden – Saskatoon. Mom leaves a legacy with seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

As per mom’s wishes, no funeral will be held. The family will celebrate her life at a private family gathering.

The family wishes to thank the many doctors who took excellent care of Mom during the past 20 years; but especially the staff, care aides, nurses and doctors at the Davidson Long Term Care Home which was mom’s residence for the past 22 months.
